I've spent my life in the business of protection. As a Patrol Captain and Life Member at Piha Surf Lifesaving Club, and as a Financial Services professional with over 30 years of industry experience, protection is at the heart of everything I do.
In 2025, I founded Lead Your Life, bringing that expertise directly to clients as a Financial Adviser, because after three decades of shaping the industry, I wanted to make a more personal impact. And that personal impact starts with you.
Just like lifeguarding, great financial advice is about prevention, foresight, and being there when it matters most. When you work with me, you get an adviser who spots risks before they become problems and acts with purpose when it matters most.
At my core, I am passionate about human potential and empowering people to achieve their goals. I believe everyone deserves the financial foundation to pursue what matters most, which is why I work with leaders who value themselves and want to protect it, executing smart cash buffer strategies that keep their goals firmly on track, even through life's unexpected moments. My background includes senior leadership at AIA Group, where I specialised in Distribution leadership, led significant product and technology redesigns, and personally trained thousands of New Zealand financial advisers to deliver tailored solutions. In 2024, my contributions to shaping the New Zealand financial services landscape were recognised with the "Insurance Business Elite Women in Insurance" award, honouring my leadership and positive influence on the industry's trajectory. This means when I sit across from you, I bring the depth of an industry insider with the heart of someone who genuinely wants to see you succeed.
I have also actively championed female empowerment throughout my career, leading "Women in Business Sessions" for Financial Advisers, participating in the "Global Women Breakthrough Leaders" programme, and dedicating myself to being a conscious leader for women. My passion is to see all people succeed, with a dedicated focus on lifting and empowering female leaders. Beyond financial services, my commitment to community and leadership runs deep. As a Patrol Captain and Life Member at Piha Surf Lifesaving Club, an honour I received in 2015 for championing female leadership in the sport, I understand that true leadership means showing up consistently, especially when it matters most. My expertise in risk management mirrors my role as a lifeguard. Both are centred on prevention, strategic foresight, and achieving the best possible outcomes. This same disciplined, proactive approach is what I bring to protecting your financial future.
Since 2014, I have also volunteered as a Judge for the Auckland Chamber of Commerce Business Awards in the "Best Emerging Business" category. This role has given me deep insight into what it takes to build a successful business, identify potential risks, and navigate the critical first five years. My passion lies in the SME market and this unique combination of corporate leadership, financial adviser support, and business judging gives me a truly comprehensive perspective on protecting and growing businesses and their most valuable assets. When I'm not focused on securing financial futures, you'll find me enjoying the very best of Piha, my home on Auckland's West Coast. I love spending time at the beach, walking my German Shepherd Sally through the rainforest, mountain biking New Zealand's incredible trails, or exploring our beautiful country in our motorhome. This grounded, adventurous approach to life reflects the stable and thoughtful planning I bring to every financial partnership.
